1970's Dodge Challenger Funny Car from vintage MPC "Soapy Sales" tooling 1/25 kit (Private Production)
Many of you know our friend Dave Burket aka "Model King". in the mid-2000's when the AMT brand had "lost its way", Dave visited the plant near Dubuque Iowa to determine what tooling was available and what kits might be produced. His efforts will go down as one of the great catalysts in the rebirth of modern-era automotive modeling. As he discovered the tooling and invested in the reissue of scores of great classics, a whole new wave of modeling began.
This Challenger is one such effort. Dusting off and cleaning up the vintage AMT tooling and engaging automotive artist Sean Svendsen, Model King produced this now-classic limited private production model kit. The kit features two decal sheets to produce either the "Miss'taken" or Charlie Allen's "Plum Crazy".
