Shipping Methods and Estimated Costs

• The table above refers to estimated Regular Ground shipping, the recommended method. Under this method, Model Roundup will pick best way, UPS or USPS, and typically will ship in-stock items within 2 business days of processingyour order. Some items with odd size boxes or oversize boxes have imputed shipping costs which may make your actual shipping cost vary from the estimate. Western States are slightly higher due to actual costs. Occasionally, orders will be held for a week to ten days for out of stock items to arrive back in stock.
• Standard shipping will be sent via UPS Ground or USPS Ground (our choice) dependingon order size, weight, and destination. UPS and USPS require extra transit time whenshipping to rural route or remote locations.
• Our telephone hours are 12:00 noon. to 6 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST/EDT)Monday through Friday. Occasionally, telephone hours are extended, and you are always welcome to leave a messageif you get the recording.
• We ship to the Continental USA, Hawaii, Alaska and US Territories including US Military addresses. We also shipinternationally daily with hundreds of regular customers in Canada, Mexico, South America, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and Japan. West Coast orders and Rural Deliveries may be billed at actual UPS, or USPS costs. Die-cast models or models heavier than normal models may cause slight adjustments to match billed costs with actual costs. We may notify you if we have to significantly modify billed shipping costs. If you are just ordering small parts or decals, and the merchandise component is over $15.00 and the parcel weighs under 13 ounces, we will actually adjust your shipping charge down to our minimum $8.95 charge, so you may see less billed than authorized or a credit as a gift certificate. Similarly, for our international customers, shipping costs are based on accurate but estimated weights of items and packaging materials. If the amount the system bills for shipping is less than the actual postage we pay by less than $3.00, we will absorb the difference. If the system bills more than $3.00 over the actual postage, we will process a gift certificate or store credit for the difference. So, you are protected both ways.   
  
• Please note that we pass thru UPS Address Correction charges when address is entered incorrectly on an order. If you are not sure of your standard normalized shipping address, please contact us before you order.
  
• Order cancellations are subject to a 4% service charge for finance fees that we cannot recover. 

Returns and Exchanges

Please inspect your parcels on arrival. If damage is detected, contact us and save packing materials for possible damage claims. If you find damaged or missing parts in a new currently available kit, contact the manufacturer and they will replace the damaged or missing part. We cannot warrant sealed out of production kits. If you find a problem with a kit, you should contact us within 7 days of receipt for return authorization or replacement. Items must be returned in the same condition as shipped to receive credit. Depending on reason for return a nominal restocking charge of 10-15 % may apply.
