The C4 Corvette (1984-1996) was known for its evolved, sleek, and modern look. In a departure from the fiberglass panels of its forerunners, the C4's rear bumpers and panels were made from sheet molding compound (SMC). The Corvette C4 came standard with an electronic dashboard featuring a liquid-crystal display, graphics for speed and RPM, and digital displays for other essential engine functions.
1986 saw the return of the Convertible to the Corvette line, celebrated by its selection as the 1986 Indy Pace car. The '88 Convertible is a beautiful example of one of the cleanest styled Corvettes of all time. This kit is factory-sealed and includes the rare opening-door feature.
