The Pajero, a SUV 4WD vehicle made by Mitsubishi, had received a new design and this 2nd generation was launched in January 1991. Among the model choices, the flag ship model “Metaltop Wide” offered a high maneuverability attained by short wheelbase at the same time had a comfortable cabin space. The car employed the Super Select 4WD(SS4) which was the first 4WD system in the world. SS4 combined the advantages of part time and full-time four-wheel drive with four available options of full-time and part-time 4WD and offers stable and comfortable drive feels. The V6 engine had a total output of 155ps and maximum torque of 24.0kg-m.This Pajero was born as a quality high-performance vehicle that offered off-road performance as a real 4WD while also being suited to cruising on the streets.
