1966 Sunbeam Tiger (2 'n 1) Stock or Custom (1/25) (fs)
First issued in 1967 as an homage to the popular "Get Smart" TV
show, this kit is the last issue of the amazing little Sunbeam Tiger.
The Blueprinter was a magazine that AMT put out in the early 1990's.
During it's run, and as an inventive to subscribers, AMT offered
exclusive Blueprinter reissues of popular subjects that were only
available to magazine subscribers.
This kit arrived to us as
part of a collection and was factory sealed as shipped from AMT in 1995.
We opened the outer box just to make sure the tires and glass which
were not sealed in this version were present. Those parts were present
and we sealed them to keep them in tact. This highly detailed model
includes a comprehensive graphic instruction sheet.
Check
out spencer1984's sweet powder blue build or the James Bond Tiger in
"Dr. No". The wheels and spinners are custom and not included in the
kit. We also found a beautiful red stock build online at
motorsportsmarketing resources. Finally, for nostalgic purposes, we
feature the Blueprinted Subscriber Card. Of course, the Blueprinter
died about 15 years ago, so no need to sign up now.
