1964 Corvette Stingray (2 'n 1) Stock or Competition (1/25)

How's that for a collectible part number, MPC-1! This was the first kit that rolled off the production line when then new manufacturer MPC entered the plastic kit scene in 1964. What an impact they made! MPC, in the 1960's, was known for their high quality engraving and attention to detail. One could argue that MPC actually raised the bar when they entered the automotive model kit market in the mid-1960's. While quality seemed to fall off for MPC in the late '70's and early '80's, no one made them better in the 1960's. This 1964 Corvette is a great example of MPC quality in the early days. They had to get this one perfect as their reputation and future was riding on it.

This kit is pristine, inspected and complete. Parts that have shaken loose from the trees have been carefully resealed for protection. The box is in excellent to very good condition with only miner shelf wear. The decal has started to flake and may not be usable. This kit can be built stock or competition.
