Lower and wider, it was the car of its time and the final creation of legendary GM designer Harley Earl. The '59 Impala was powered by a 348 cubic inch V8 engine with 3 2-barrel carbs. From its low hood to the wide tail fins, the '59 Impala was THE cruisin' machine.
