ERTL SCREWUP! 1969 PONTIAC GTO CRYSTAL TURQUOISE/BLK INTERIOR WHEEL MIXUP PAIR(1/18) Rare Diecast (fs)

When ERTL produced these cars, they were also producing the '69 Judge Carosel Red car. Somewhere, a production snafu happened, and wheels were incorrectly installed. Red Centers were the specs. Some got Black centers from the '69 Judge configuration. That instantly made these two mistake cars more valuable. Here, you get BOTH. And, if you look at the '69 Carosel Red Judge, you get both there also. Legend has it that only about 500 cars were mixed up before the mistake was caught and the correction made. The color in the photos only varies because of two different cameras and lighting used to snap them. They ARE the same color!
