In the spirit of and tradition of the Auto Shows in America in the 1960's, Hasegawa brings us this limited edition 1/24 scale model of the 1965 Chevy with a beautiful blond model perched on the hood. The model is molded in white, so painting is recommended. Bright chrome plated parts are included as well as clear glass and black vinyl tires. This kit is more of a curbside kit and does not include a detailed engine compartment or opening hood. These Hasagawa kits from the 1966 American Car Series are known for their beautiful engraving on the body and interior.
The box art error is well known and has been around for 30 years. You would think Hasagawa might correct the box at some point, but if they correct it to 1965, we guess it would no longer fit in their now famous 1966 American Coupe Series. These kits were never shrink wrapped from the factory, but the parts are factory sealed inside.
