A rare limited edition release from GMP: #28 of 1,500. Brand New in Mint Box

In 1968, after doing some work with James Garner on the movie Grand Prix, Garner, driver Dick Guldstrand and Bob Bondurant set up a company that they called American International Racing to satisfy Garners interest to continue racing. Starting out racing Corvettes they made the switch to the Lola T70 Coupe. The first race in the lola was at Sebring in march 1968, and then continued running at Daytona and Sebring in 1969. The team of Ed leslie and Lothar Motschenbacher drove the AIR Lola for James Garners' team and finished a best second.
