1957 Ford Ranchero "Chopped" Street Machine (1/25)
**Please note that we received this kit from a high-end collection with a punctured box. We inspected the kit, fixed the box, sealed the glass and tires, and resealed it for protection and care. Sold as is.
The Revell 1957 Ranchero has a unique history from its introduction in
1960. The kit was originally issued in stock format with an unchopped
roof in 1960. It was reissued in that format in 1976. One version from
1960, H-1241, was "motorized" for slot car racing. In 1984 the tool was
modified into a custom chopped top street machine as part of Revell's
"Saints" series. The chopped version was reissued in 1987 and 1995.
This is the 1987 chopped issue. Since this kit comes from vintage
Revell tooling, it features a multi-piece body. These bodies are not for
the faint of heart. However, with a good fast drying adhesive, these
kinds of kits are very manageable, but we would only recommend to
builders with moderate experience.
