A racing derivative of the BMW M1, the Procar was an up-gunned 24-valve 460 bhp monster with a top speed of nearly 200 mph (310 kph). In 1979 and 1980 BMW ran 20 identical M1 Procars head to head with different drivers in an exclusive contest of skill. In 1981, the Procar entered Formula 1 competitions as the vanguard of BMW. Kit features multi-part 6-cylinder engine, instrument panel, removable rear hood, and decals for two versions.
