Carl Casper "Young American" Dragster (1/25) (fs)
After his previous success with the Galloping Ghost, custom car builder and drag enthusiast Carl Casper had a long way to go to top himself. But most fans will agree he did just that. The Young American claimed low ET of 6.56 and top mph of 220 at the Ontario Super Nationals. Plus the rail has claimed the track record of 6.51/227 at Lions dragstrip. Modelers should note that this is the first reissue of the MPC "long-rail" front engine dragster in almost 40 years. The Wynn's Charger has been reissued, but that is what we call the MPC "short-rail" front engine dragster. Beautifully re-released in its original box art, the MPC Young American is a must for any vintage dragster builder or collector. "One of the Wildest and Hottest of the Fuel-Gulping, Strip-Shredding Rails!!!"
