'Incredible' !!! Chevrolet's distinctive Aerosedan was one of the most popular cars of the immediate postwar era. The unforgettable "torpedo" shape of the Aerosedan became an icon with the American public through movies, television, magazines, advertising billboards, and, of course, everyday exposure on the streets, roads, and highways of the U.S.A. In the modern age, it has also endeared itself to rodders, customizers, lowrider enthusiasts, and vintage racing fans, not to mention classic auto restorers. Galaxie Limited's 1/25 scale 1948 Chevrolet Aerosedan model kit is a true 3-in-1 customizing kit that can be built as stock, custom, or racing versions. Each kit is molded in the highest quality light gray, clear, and transparent red styrene plastic. All of the parts are packaged in sealed, individual plastic bags. This kit has the extra optional parts to build as a '46, '47. or '48 . Featuring authentic engine, chassis, and interior this kit is highly detailed and includes about 140 parts. This kit was designed and produced by a former editor of Scale Auto Enthusiast Magazine who went on to found Galaxie Models. Galaxie sold out of this particular kit a few years back. Please note these kits are factory sealed, but did not have cellophane on the outer box on these original issues. We have inspected these kits received in a collection and they are mint perfect inside. We sealed these kits with tape circles after inpection to keep the contents in tact.
