1968 Chevrolet Impala SS 427 (1/25) This kit cannot be built stock.

Released in 1968, AMT produced this kit in Troy, Michigan.

The AMT 1968 Impala is considered one of the holy grails. Due to licensing issues with GM in 1968 AMT could not issue a stock '68 Impala. MPC beat them to the punch and the only true stock 1968 is the MPC kit. The AMT kit has a custom body that is "too cool for school".

Please note that most of the parts on this model are off the trees, and the box has sustained wear from storage, particularly on one side of the box. We have resealed the parts inside and resealed the box for protection and care.
