1966 Ford Fairlane 427 (1/25) (fs) This old AMT favorite first issued as a 427 in 1993 from the original 1966 Fairlane 500 tooling. This is the 1993 first issue of the 427 version.
In 1966, the top performance car offered by Ford was the 427 Fairlane. Introduced at mid-year with little hype, only 57 of the mighty Fairlanes were produced, and only in white. Featuring Ford's 427 cu. in. 425 hp V-8, reduced weight and bullet proof drive train, the 427 existed solely to race.
